Summary: "THE BEST OF THE MONTANA CREEDS!!!"
For those of you who have not had the pleasure to read anything by Linda Lael Miller (a new discovery for me) and who enjoy contemporary romances, this is a wonderful start on all levels.
Miller writes superbly and immerses one in the glories of the Montana countryside, and the personalities of these modern cowboys who are stud-muffins with fascinating pasts and current histories that engage and enchant. Three brothers, all gorgeous and accomplished in their individual ways, but Tyler Creed, of this book is my favorite hands down.
Logan and Dylan Creed are also covered in two other books, and are a must if you like this one...but to get a horizontal time line in place it is perhaps best to read the other two first....
I won't give away the story line, but you can be assured that the writing is wonderful, and evocative, the sex scenes are about as steamy as they can get and the narrative is touching and poignant ...plus the romance between the two leads is riveting.
Five stars all the way!

Summary: "The plot stunk!"
I've read lots of reviews from other readers here in hopes of finding something I must be missing. I mean 13 people liked this book so maybe I overlooked a section or two. After reading the reviews with the 1 star, I have to admit this book was pretty bad.
BEWARE- SOME SPOILERS BELOW>
First, I want to say I wasn't disturbed by the sex scenes. I just didn't understand how Lily, who dumped Tyler 14 years ago for cheating, can "do it" on the first date. Heck, it wasn't even a date...just sex. The reader doesn't feel any connection between the two of them. LLM should've made Tyler grovel just a little bit. Lily doesn't seem to have apparent self-esteem issues so why did she want this rotten weasel dog back.
The most likeable character in this book was Tyler's dog. Also, did Davie have to turn out to be Tyler's son with Lily accepting that fact without any discord at all?
Just want to know what LLM was thinking when she wrote this horrible storyline.

Summary: "Ehhh"
This book could have been a lot better. I think Tyler was a little bit of a sex-addict, and Lily...was the same a bit. I just think there was too much talk about it. No romance or love.
There was also too much other stuff going on in the book. I think it had the potential to be good, but it seems like she didn't put enough effort into it. I must say I really didn't love this series. It just didn't seem like her usual style. Not much romance or feeling, or love! She even wrote it towards the end somewhere. "He didn't make love to her. He did her." That's supposed to be steamy romance?
And I feel I must comment on the store incident. Not possible. No way could he just make her come like that. That just came out of nowhere, so unlike Miller.

Summary: "More like lust than love"
The relationship between Tyler and Lily was more like lust than love. I'm not sure how to get past this whole 15 year age gap with the older woman when he was dating Lily when they were younger. I don't think he was ready to love anyone at that time and the relationship with Doreen was just physical. Yeah that could be believable, but come on didn't she have any morals? Then the big secret. One would think that given what Tyler grew up with he would be yelling and kicking up a storm because of what she did and how she handled it for that many years.
As far as Lily and her getting over Tyler. I don't think she ever got over him when she was 17 and he broke her heart. But I find it hard to believe that she didn't once question if it was her. Given that she believed her father walked away from her, Tyler hurt her, then Burke hurt her too. It's a wonder this woman didn't seek some serious counseling. One would think that given all of that she would've been a lot less anxious to hook back up with Tyler. Tyler should've had to work harder at winning Lily than what he did.
The book could've been so much deeper but instead the author just chose to skim the surface putting her characters through some hard things but never really dealing with them later on either.
